The Sins of Pilot Václav Šlouf – a somewhat
different look at the career of former RAF fighter
pilot Václav Šlouf. In 1932 he was discharged from
the Czechoslovak air force for undisciplined flying
and assigned to an infantry unit. It was not to be
the last time he had to face the music for his
action. Several examples of his flying habit are
described here.
A Guaranteed Coffin...? – Part 2 of an
article describing the development and evolution of
the LaGG-3 fighter. 2 colour profiles and an
overview of existing LaGG-3 kits are included.
Václav Eisman – from the diary of an aircraft
mechanic – service career of Gefreiter Václav Eisman
who served with various Fliks during WW I. Apart
from some interesting photos from Eisman’s estate,
the article also features photocopies of several
pages of a logbook of the Ufag C.I (Ph) 123.20. Two
colour profiles (Ufag C.I and Hansa Brandenburg C.I)
are included.
Banana – Part 2 is focused on Ennio
Tarantola’s fighter career starting with a mission
of July 10, 1942. His last sortie of April 25, 1944,
when he was seriously wounded, is also described.
Tarantola’s ultimate score included 11 individual
victories plus 4 shared. 3 colour profiles of Macchi
C.202s and 2 of a FIAT G.55.

B-534s in Luftwaffe marking. Two colour profiles are
included as well as two reviews of Eduard’s new
